About
Support you can trust
It’s not simple to set up and maintain a life-changing discipleship school. St Hild College can offer a highly experienced team who have established and led similar schools for over a decade, in the UK and overseas.
We have dedicated resource to help establish a network of hubs delivering quality discipleship schools across the regions.
St Hild College is a multi-denominational training college in three locations and online. We’ve been training Baptists for over a decade in theology for today’s world, in Christian formation and leadership for tomorrow’s church. Find out more: sthild.org/baptist
Our comprehensive curriculum and session plans, included in the Discipleship School Toolkit, are quality assured by St Hild College, who will issue a certificate of attendance to all students who complete a local School. St Hild is a nationally recognised Theological Education Institute (TEI) and is registered with the government’s Office for Students.
Just as importantly, all of St Hild’s values show a strong commitment to understanding and practising discipleship within the local church. Our stated vision is: “Adventurous and Christ-like formation for the renewal of the church and the transformation of communities” and our four defining values are: prayerful; collaborative; courageous; and, pioneering.
Who’s Who?
Our School Coordinator is highly experienced in Baptist circles, having been staff in several Baptist churches, a regional Association and contributed to national round-tables. They launched and led a similar school of ministry for six years in a thriving Baptist church, having previously served as a missionary overseas, and had a career within the NHS.
The Centre for Baptist Ministry is led by Revd. Dr. Nick Allan. He is experienced in raising and coaching missional leaders, and has a specialism in the young adult generations. Nick’s recent doctoral research was about missional movements, plus growing and multiplying healthy churches (macro and micro). Nick has overseen discipleship schools in several local churches continuously for the past 19 years.
